Level 1 - Beer enthusiast

This is an introductory course in beer education designed for beer enthusiasts interested in furthering their beer knowledge and interest in beer. The focus will be on brewing ingredients & processes, ,beer tasting concepts, pouring & serving beer, draught beer system basics, beer and food pairings. Please note that Level 1 is a pre-requisite for Level 2.

Level 2 - Beer specialist
|
This course is designed and developed for Beer Specialists who wish to take their beer knowledge to another level. The focus is to provide more detailed insights into brewing ingredients and processes, draught beer systems, beer and food pairings while introducing a more detailed approach brewing history. This program continues to develop beer sensory skills.

Level 3 - Beer sommelier
|
This program is geared to achieving the title of Beer Sommelier; a more detailed, extensive look at the world of beer. This is our most comprehensive course examining in depth, beer ingredients, brewing processes, draught beer systems and an introduction into beer glassware. We also provide insight into facilitating beer tastings and beer dinners. Our focus on beer and food continues in further detail. One of the most important components of this level is the focus on beer judging, evaluating beer styles and developing sensory skills related to beer. Please note that all participants will have to present a beer of their choice to the class.

Level 4 - Master Beer sommelier
|
This course is designed and developed for beer sommeliers that will use their extensive beer and sensory knowledge to design beer menus and manage beer portfolios and present beer and food pairings. The focus is on extending sensory knowledge of beer styles & beer and food pairings, developing the skills to consult on beer menu creation, and evaluation of beer based on true to style evaluations.
