Course Outline

This course is designed and developed for Beer Specialists who wish to take their beer knowledge to another level. The focus is to provide more detailed insights into brewing ingredients and processes, draught beer systems, beer and food pairings while introducing a more detailed approach brewing history. This program continues to develop beer sensory skills.

Program Highlights:
  1. Comprehensive Understanding of Ingredients and Brewing Concepts - Dive deep into the impact of ingredients and processes, and gain the ability to compare beer styles and identify sensory components, including off-flavors​.
  2. Canadian Beer History - Explore key historical events and the influence of prominent Canadian brewers on the beer industry​.
  3. Beer and Food Pairing Mastery - Learn to pair beer with various foods and cheeses, developing an expert palate and recording pairing insights​.
  4. Technical Draught Beer Knowledge - Participate in workshops to dismantle and reconstruct draught components, ensuring proficiency in draught system maintenance​.
